Monitoring COVID-19

ECS is actively monitoring the spread of coronavirus in the United States. This page is dedicated to providing pertinent information about business and legislative developments related to the COVID-19 virus.  The health and safety of our workforce is our highest priority.

If You Are Sick

If you are sick or are experiencing any symptoms of respiratory illness, stay home and rest.  Do not come to work until you are free of fever (100.4° F [37.8° C] or greater using an oral thermometer), signs of a fever, and any other symptoms for at least 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing or other symptom-altering medicines (e.g. cough suppressants).  Please notify ECS immediately if you are sick.

How Coronavirus May Affect Your Assignment

Federal, State and/or local governments may implement policies that limit travel or other policies related to the coronavirus.  Please monitor your local news and follow the guidelines presented by government in your jurisdiction.

The Familes First Coronavirus Response Act becomes effective April 2, 2020. The FFCRA requires ECS to provide employees up to two weeks (80 hours) of paid sick leave and expanded Family & Medical Leave rights. You may download the US Department of Labor poster here:  FFCRA Notice To Employees Please contact ECS at (607) 323-0004 if you believe you are eligible for this relief.

Client Worksite

The client site where you are working may implement policies to manage the coronavirus for the protection of its workers and contract personnel.  If you have questions about any of these policies, please contact the client’s human resources department and the ECS human resources department and we will jointly assist you with any questions or concerns you might have.
