Contract and temporary hiring is expected to be red hot heading in the latter half of 2013. Those of us who were expecting the unexpected due to the impending implementation of the employer health insurance mandate in the ACA Obamacare bill, originally scheduled for an effective date of January 1, 2014, have been given a reprieve with the President’s postponement of the employer portion of the mandate for one year. So, the table is set and the market is situated ideally for contract and temp right now.
